I have a 1971 built camper, Is there an easy way to identify which brake callipers I have as I expect they should be the one year only ones. But before ordering any replacements want to make sure.
Cheers Barry :D

As per this link to the bush kit, iirc i think its the bolt sizes are different on the 71-72 ones ?

There's a photo somewhere showing early v late spindles so you can just look and work it out but can't find it now...

So easiest way to be sure, early are 12mm bolts while the late ones use a fatter 14mm bolt :D

If you've got the early spindles, then you'll be limited to rebuild kits (and hoping nothing is irredeemably scored or seized) or very pricey calipers. Or you can just fit the later calipers using the conversion bushes above.
