Ignition barrel issues!

Another issue! Hope someone can help, after a week of trying to remove the ignition barrel with a j wire, finally lost patience and cut the end off with a hacksaw, so finally got the housing free, turns out the hole didn't have a 'push' tab so would have been forever! Now thinking previous owner rammed a barrel in, not site now how to get the thing out!! Help please

Finally got the old barrel out! Turns out it's a 71 on housing and barrel. So new barrel required, anyone know if I can use a 67-70 ignition switch in this? It did have a 70-74 originally but with some cables cut off
