Insurance question

Just been looking at insurance for my lovely rust bucket and got a bit stumped. They asked me how much she is worth. When I said unreplaceable they laughed! How would I get a true value and not some stupid off the top of my head £2 million figure my heart screams out?

I had the same problem - RH Insurance wanted independent valuation, cherished will take a figure backed up with photo's and if it's rejected will ask for a valuation, I put in a figure based on what busses have been fetching on here and other sites - fingers crossed they accept it!

Plus they gave me a free t-shirt....I'm such a sucker for free stuff

Footman James ask for 4 good current photos and send you a form to be filled in by "Car club official, Restorer, Valuer, Specialist dealer or other reputable person who may have inspected the vehicle"

Get storage policy on her now , mine was £35 with footman james which covered fire and theft while i tickled her back to road worthy health
