well the gritters were out up here last night,

i've just washed my van and it's getting put away in the unit for the winter tonight,

i'ii prob have it out for a day in the next few weeks (more about that later  ) other than thats it's away till spring 09.

so is yours in it's bed yet? or do you use it through the winter???

I use mine through out the winter, they are built to be used in books, I dont put it away wet tho as dont want to give Mr rust to much of and advantage

It is kept in a good garage and only really used at weekends so not as much use as others really 8)

Mine is my daily driver - no rest for the wicked ;)

Seriously, I'll have done another 100 miles by the weekend. No point in owning it and not driving it, that's what my bug is for :D

Parked on the street all year round,,,,the only winter concession is the Wolfies get changed to stock wheels
& the propex is ready to go on the flick-of-the-switch

Our bus is now away for the winter. May get her out if there is a nice weekend.

Need to drop the engine out at some point, to do a few jobs.

Mines at work inside a nice heated workshop, Although one fitter in perticular does not like it in his part of the workshop and i reckon soon i will have to park it in my parents drive open to all the eliments!!

Might buy a cover but heard pro`s and cons with that. Anyone recommend using a cover and or a brand??

kind of MOT tax and insurance all ran out and were expecting our first baby any moment so its under its cover on the drive till after xmas now!

Put some of those moisture absorber packs in it but thats about it.

Mines driven all the time throughout the winter with no heating!

Just store it under a car port in the evenings and clean it a couple of times a week to get the grit and **** off.

Mine's tucked up in a nice dry farm building not too far away from where I live. I've put its cover on aswell. I did that in case of pigeon droppings, but it looks as though the pigeons haven't discovered that building yet, so I don't think I need to worry!
I'll still take the van out every three or four weeks for a quick 'airing'. :D

Sadly yes. Don't have a garage but rent a car parking space where it is stored but with a Protec cover protecting as much as possible. Just had a chat with my missus on our first trip of 2009 which is looking likely to be driving across spain from Santander and then ferry to Morroco for some sun... hopefully early Spring 09. My dormobile has given much joy in 2008 and sad to see it put to bed for the winter.

As soon as mine is back on the road i'm planning on using it :D , probably not everyday but at least once or twice a week 8) , might even sell the daily and just run the bay

Ive been camping in mine twice this last week alone. It will still get used but when not in use will go to a barn at a farm down the road from me (3 bays live there at the moment)

Do it :D

My bay is my daily as I am restoring my '66 bug. I doubt the bug will ever be a true 'daily' again, it'll be too shiny for that, so the van may do that unless I sell it. I'm very tempted by rover P6s at the moment...

Only problem is i like the power the daily has (2.5 V6 Vectra SRi) although just lately i have been looking at 944's and, dare i say it, Renault 5 GT Turbos

I like a Renault 5 GT Turbo as well, but they must be 100% unmodified.

Anyway, my Protec cover arrives in 2 weeks (they were cutting material for another one so I moved up the list) the camper will be tucked up for the winter then.

this weekend i am tucking the FIAT Barchetta up for the winter in the garage then camper wont fit in
