Late bay to early bay wheel spacers

I have late bay wheels and want some smooth early wheels. Has anyone used these spacers?

It said only for drum brakes as will foul calliper so will not fit. You could do what I did and get drop spindles and a early drum to disc kit and have adaptors made to fit kit to discs but thats a lot of ££££s , cheaper to get some alloys !
