M plate not attached

Just going through stuff in my garage. I seem to have accumulated lots of nuts bolts and bits I found my M plate which has never been attached to the bus. Not since I’ve had it. I can’t remember if it was removed when I started renovating or was handed to me when I bought the bus from a lady in Bristol. Is it ok to just have or should I attach it. Cheers

The M-Plate is probably as important as the VIN number (maybe more so). If you don't attach it, maybe you'll lose it, and possibly devalue your bus?

My 71 dormy has it on the bulkhead behind the passenger (near side) seat.
