Main beam

Hi all another newbie. My headlights work but when I select high beam they dip. Any advice most welcome, many thanks

Does main beam work when they're dipped?

Hi thanks for reply, yes main beam is on when dipped and when the blue main beam indicator is on they are on low beam. Only noticed as I was against a wall whilst checking. Thanks.

Bulbs may be installed 180 degrees out, or the sockets themselves have the wires switched, or the relay is the wrong type or miswired.
