G'Day,
I never organise anyting - so I thougt I would give this a stab as driving somewhere is always better in numbers (esp. if you break down)...as far as I can determine no one has put a post up to gauge interst in meeting up on the way to Vanfest, I'm coming from Southend in Essex on Friday morning (time to be determined) and looking at Google Maps I can take either:
M25 and M1 - 187 mi,3 hours 29 mins
M25 and M40 - 192 mi,3 hours 32 mins
M25 and M4 - 191 mi,3 hours 33 mins
Google Directions for me
So for all routes - South Mimms could be an option.
If M1:
Toddington Services M1 between J11 and J12 or Newport Pagnell Services M1 between J14 and J15
If M40:
Beaconsfield Services M40 at J2 or Oxford Services M40 at J8a and A40
If M4:
Reading Services M4 between J11 and J12 or Membury Services M4 between J14 and J15
I''m not bothered what route I take - Let me know your interest and I'll firm some arrangements on here (time and place)
