Hi,

I just got my bus insured via Peter James - who asked if I was a member of any clubs. I mentioned I was a member of the earlybay forum (which they appeared to recognise).

Since receiving my policy documents they've requested my membership number. Is there an easy way of finding this (I couldn't see it on my user profile).

Cheers,

Mike
Note: I did try Cherished insurance, but they wouldn't cover my van as it was going to be on the drive at my parents address for a couple of weeks (and their post-code is a declined area).

Your membership number is M303

You were the 303rd person to register a name beginning with M, thats how its worked out.

HI Clem,

How does the member no work for the people in the other category ie user names starting with numbers?

Would it be Other156 or 7156?

Cheers.

Andy

I always assumed that our membership No. is the number at the end of each member's url (hover over your username and it appears bottom of screen on a PC). Is this not the case?

I wonder whether it actually matters to the insurer, just that their 'system' demands a number. Make one up, perhaps? :D
