As I haven't posted on here for a while now for those of you who don't know me I'm the guy from Australia that owns a 69 Lowlight Dual slider Panelvan that is currently running a tired old 1600sp with stock 1600 g/box. I now have most of my parts for the new build a mild 2276 the heart of the new motor is as follows:

Autolinea alliminium case (bored out for 94's etc)
Scat 82mm Volksracer crank
Wiseco pistons
Jaycee cylinders
Pauter rods
Pauter rockers
Custom grind cam
Custom lifters to suit
Cb mini wedge port heads

I will also be running fuel injection when i decide on which set up will best suit my build. I will be building this myself with some help along the way of course from my mates as this will be the first Vw motor I've put together. I will post up some pics and details as the build unfolds. :D

nice. start a build thread but keep it in the gallery section. I dont think we have too many straight flat four engine build threads, there are a few 6 cylinder threads but i for one would like to see how your putting it together.

No worries thanks lads when I get some pics together I will start a thread in the gallery section. :D

Mini wedges, pauter rods, wiseco pistons, EFI doesn't mean mild to me

Should push your bus hard!
