Just used this site : mot-history.net to check the MOT history of the van and a strange thing is showing:

Vehicle make VOLKSWAGEN
Vehicle model MOTOR CARAVAN
Date first used 1 July 1971
Fuel type Petrol
Colour Red

Hmm - yet when I check the MOT on the official government site it shows this:

Vehicle make VOLKSWAGEN
Date of first registration 12 October 1972
Year of manufacture 1972

Sounds like something ain't right?

You never know Mr Gninnam
You may have the first crossover as used in the 1971 motor caravan show! :D
or the gov website is just wrong!

Just been on - turns out the '67,xxx' on my mileometer must be stuck as the remaining three digits have clocked round several times without the 6 and 7 moving!!!

I know its a Beta service but i just got:

No vehicle that matched the data you entered could be found.

I've had it MOT'd in the UK for the last 4 years, wonder if its because it was an import?
