Well, my dad is partially to blame for it. He got me hooked on vws early on! All i really know about the van is that the old fellow who sold it to me had it parked on his hill for years. I was just out there last week helping him get his '85 westy running & i had told him before that the 68 had gone overseas to get all fixed up . I knew she was well worth digging up! Next time i'm out there i'll ask him if he remembers anything about it other than it showed up at his front door one day.

hi people,
as you may have seen mike decided to sell this project, and me and my girlfriend are lucky enough to be the new owners of this bus
so i thought id use this thread to give everyone an update...... well she passed her mot and i managed to get her registered, she still needs a few electrical niggles sorting, the engine needs a bit of a tweak and a new oil seal, so is very much a rolling project.
