I bought my bus on a whim and as always it's been bodged and poorly repaired.

My family say I'm a magpie, oooh that's nice and shiny (coming home with me)

It's a 72 westy and on the face of it is totally original

But rear of the roof and lower doors is filler, need a quite a few bits welding

Welcome Satan!

Not something I ever thought id say

I'm also a Sheffielder.

If you want to meet up with some local VW owners then.....Sheffield Volkswagen Owners Club (SVWOC) are having a bbq on Tuesday 3rd July

There is also a show coming up - details in my signature

How do! I'm from Sheffield too, in the middle of sorting my own historic bodge box. Welcome to the club! Let's see a photo.

Thanx for the warm welcome I'm not new to classic VW's but I am new to a camper.

I have mostly had beetles and MK1 goods

I don't have very good pictures at the moment

Looks good Satan

Your bus is actually a late bay (as is mine) so you should also join the latebay forum. Lots of tips and people who have already done the jobs you are considering.
