Firstly I'm sorry to anyone who gets offended by posts not about earlybays on an earlybay forum, I know there's some pretty clued up people on here so I'm after a bit of advice please. My company have just replaced my land rover pick up with a toyota hilux pick up, and it's bloody awful!! The suspension is very soft and it sits too low to the ground, I carry lots of weight in the back and also tow a 2.5t drilling rig. I've looked into lifting the ride height using a suspension lift kit but without stiffening it all up it will just squat back down again, a mate of mine has managed to fit a set of coil springs onto his rear leaf springs but I'm a bit worried this will go against my warranty if I did the same? Anyone got any suggestions or ideas to look into? Basically I need to lift the whole vehicle and stiffen the rear end. I miss my land rover!! :|
