Off to Gretna Green

Next year my daughter gets married at Gretna. I thought myself and the long haired general would go up in the van and spend a week or so going up the east coast then back down the west.

Any recommendations for campsites and any good roads I should travel on. Never really been around Scotland, prepping van this year. Getting seats refurbished etc.
