Hi all, i have a 1600 engine 71 crosover. I was fitting an oil bath filter today and found that the thermostat on the side was not pushing the spring back. I tried the hair dryer trick to test it and no luck. Does anyone know how to either fix these or get a replacment?

Wax Thermostat no. 113 129826

The eBay search can be weird.
I keyed the part number into Google search and then went via that.

Hi, you may have sorted this by now but a bloke named Russ Keller in the USA makes a good replacement using a Volvo part. Not cheap and Customs Duty on top. You'll find him on The Samba or [email protected]

Thank you, i have got one now but a good name for the future
