as some of you may or may not know i joined this site back in september of this year after buying my first bay , i was over the moon at last my life long dream had come true  2 weeks later my lifes dream was on fire and being knocked about by the fire brigade hmmm slightly disheartened i had to miss out on most of what was left of the vw festival calender after lots of phone calls to the insurance and loads of red tape etc my bus finally went in for resto work coming home in late november then i still had running issues .. Luckily i made it to the american dinner as i only live about 1 mile away but after that i was still plagued with starting issues  so 2 weeks ago i decided i would get to the bottom of this after 2 macanics could find nothing wrong with it ..... turns out to be a dodgy ignition barrel ... sorted so this weekend i ve been out and about in it , drove to work and back in it too. I love my bus is running like a dream its a pleasure to drive it now , all the aggro seem worth while now. And some kind soul spotted it parked up at my house and pop a flyer through the door inviting me to join Dub Klub a local VW group in my neck of the woods so im going to take a trip over on wednesday night should be good ......
In short im glad i stuck with it all the heart ache and fustration seem all worth while now roll on the summer for long weekends camping with the kids and kicking back with all the other vdub crowd
so if anyone out there ever feels their loosing the faith hang in there it worth the pain
