Are panelvan converted windows the same as normal camper model windows?
Thinking of changing the louvred window for a standard window or maybe an opening window but not sure on the compability.

This is the type of window i want to remove, just dont like the look of it for some reason!

My bad. I didnt read your post properly .

Yes, you'll need a bit of 'Triplex' panel van conversion glass, there is a 'standard' size used by most converters, and that'll be what you need.

You can get sliding openers too, I had one for my old van which was a converted panel.

the main difference is that "proper" camper glass is flat and converted panel van glass tends to be curved to fit the profile of the van. this is because a converted van glass has to work with the vehicle, basically replacing the metal that was there previously, a factory style window sits in a recess which is designed to take a flat pane of glass

If you are removing a standard Westfalia louvered window in a kombi conversion then you need standard glass, if it was a panel van originally then follow what everyone else has said.
