Hello all,

just ordered a Twin Weber set-up for my 1.6 single port but I still need to acquire...

Thermostat and Bracket
Cooling Flaps
Link between Flaps and Thermostat

Obviously that stuff was removed while my Van resided in sunny California but I've been told that I really should have them re-fitted now the van is in the UK up North.

The problem is getting the stuff!

Is this correct...? And the price!!!???

This correct?

or this bracket...says "with bottom bracket"

Cooling Flaps "to help the engine warm up from cold" apparently... mines are missing anyway so need them. Where do I get them?

And lastly...

Links Between Flaps and Thermostat. Where do I get them?

Many thanks for your patience and help so far... good crowd on this Forum!

Cheers,

Charlie

You can get the pushrod to actuate the thermostate from Heritage, they have listed Gen VW ones. I bought a few and they are excelent.
Make sure you get the right flaps and the bar that links the two flaps, there is a difference between the single and dual port. Also some bars have the spring hole in a different location, make sure yours match the fan shroud you have for the hole can be farther apart depending on the combination of shroud/bar.
Lastly, get a new Gen VW spring from Heritage, i also got from them and it was spot on😉
