quantity of curtain straps in a 1971 Westy Campmobile 70

Hi there,

I´m looking for the quantity of curtain straps in a 1971 Westy with a Campmobile 70 interior. I know the quantity varies in the different model years. The 1971 has a one-piece curtain in the front which is attached by snap fasteners. So there are no curtain straps for the drivers and passenger front side curtain. How about the sliding door, deck lid and the two rear windows on drivers side? Are there any curtain straps originally in a 1971 model?

Mine has 4 down the drivers side for the two side windows, 2 for the hatch, and 1 for the slider curtain. So 7 in total.

can you (or anybody else) confirm the 4 straps on the drivers side and the 2 for the hatch are original in a 1971 westy?

Hi,

I started a topic at thesamba.com, too. An Owner of an all original 1971 Westy mentioned that there is only one single curtain strap in an 1971 Westy - the one for the sliding door curtain.
