Ah I think we’re talking crossed purposes. I was suggesting that ignoring the preload (because the assumption is that it is set up with the same angular difference between top and bottom arms when using the adjusters to a stock setup) there is no change to the stiffness of the springs, regardless of ride height. It is the same as changing the spring height on a coilover setup on a Macpherson strut car. Obviously the downside is that other things run out of travel / start to make contact!
