Rare? Cargo net for EB Westfalias.

I had wondered about the hooks on the fiberglass in the rear, asked my dad (long time VW guy) about them.

He said that they used to have a net to hold down your cargo. Made sence to me, I happened to come across a EB left for dead...experation on plates read '83.

Just about everything was off that could be yanked.

I popped the top, unzipped the net and under years of...earth was the infamous 'net.
I had thought it to be of legend...but there it lay.

So do any of you remember these, or know of these?

The one I have is only good for a pattern, how should I go about getting one reproduced?
It is a relatively simple design and I am really shocked that these aren’t reproduced.(Are they?)

Good find, mine is from Halfrauds @ £7.99 with a couple of additional hooks, works a treat.

I have a set that you can have for free 8) , they are installed on a rack that I'm getting rid off soon so I can take them off before I do, they are a bit rusty but solid, let me know where can I send them for you if interested.
