anyone got any bright ideas how I can solve this problem!

last bumper bolt holding the bumper to the chassis is just spinning

looks like the nut in the chassis box section has come loose

so need to get the bolt out but no space to get a grinder in there to grind off the head?

Can you get a hacksaw blade between the bumper mount and the chassis rail or is it still tight? If you can then a load of tape and a rag round one end and give it some what for with the hacksaw blade till it's cut! I had to do that by hand on a Mk1 golf a couple of years ago to get a shock off that had seized.

If not - maybe a die grinder on the bolt?

I recently bought one of these - and they have a tiny one inch diameter grinder/cutter. Would take a while to cut through the bolt
but should get there in the end...

....or wedge the bolt against the side with a screwdriver and drill the **** out of the bolt head...

That`s what I was thinking ^^^ but I thought either grab hold of it with mole grips or grip it to the side with mole grips then drill it with as small a bit as you can and then get progressively larger, then you might even be able to chisel it off if you run out of drills. I got the exact same on one of mine to do and I`ve been pondering how to go about it for a bit. Those Dewalt Extreme`s are amazing drill bits, they`d piss through that

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,Too much pondering and not enough doing

I had the same issue recently. Cut a socket sized hole from above to get a socket on the now non-captive nut.
