Rear light surrounds - are there different sizes?

So, question is, have I been a knob jockey and bought OG chrome rear light surrounds that will not fit my lights? :|

I'm on euro spec half yellow indicators, and the trims are much smaller than the lenses. I was kind of hoping it was just that the current lenses are aftermarket and larger, but now I'm doubting it!

Someone put me to rights....

Chrome rings are designed to fit the us rear lights, uk/euro buses didn't have them fitted,

You're not the only knob jockey I have a lovely shiny set that has been on a shelf for a couple of years. Someone told me they can be trimmed to fit but I haven't tried that yet

Guess I might have a shot with the Dremel as the lenses are cheapo ones anyway, just not sure how effective the seals would be after though. Only one way to find out I guess...

My excuse is that when it says OG and looks shiny then my brain goes into neutral.
