Hi all
The catch has broken on mine and I was wondering if it was possible to remove the quarter window without removing the rest of the window. Looking under the window when open there dose appear to be two rivets that could be drilled but I think I would rather do it with the window out
many thanks

What part of the catch? The moving part can be replaced without removing the unit.

If the stud or bracket itself is broken then you will need to remove.

Pull back the rubber seal in the inside of the bus on the leading edge of the quarter. You should see two metal tags. Bend these back. The leading edge, complete with rubber seal, is now free to be pushed outwards. Once the front is out of the body the quarter needs to be tilted to remove (because the vertical bar of the trailing edge sits on the inside of the window aperture lip).

Once removed complete from the bus, it can then be dismantled.

To replace the stud or bracket, the glass will have to be removed from its frame.

how can you do the top part wthout removing window???

I have several that are broken and need to secure the van soon as we are having lots of car pinched in the area at the moment.
