rear vent window peg

Hi guys,

Is the peg of the rear vent window supposed to fall out? Managed to work the metal round though may have to weld it back in whilst rubber and window intact :/

Yes, common problem. Its caused when the peg has rusted into its friction clamp and the quarter if forced open. this tears the peg out the frame.

Your right, the peg can be tacked with the rubber in place. Need to be quick and cool it fast (a dip in water).
