I have a Volkswares full width r and r bed and am looking for a kitchen unit to house hob, sink, water and gas bottles. Anyone got any experience with the removable type pods or weekender style units. Van will be used for weekends mainly so don't need masses of storage and quite happy with a coolbox instead of a fixed fridge, pics of your set ups would be great, thanks.

My pod is approximately 92cm wide from bulk head and works with a Rusty Lee bed
Can do LHD or RHD

I have a full width bed and a decent kitchen unit, I’ll take some pics in a bit when we’re loading up for our van for our first trip of the year .... yay [emoji3]

There’s a small low level cabinet at the side of the main cabinet that houses a 3.9kg gas bottle. It’s low enough for the bed to pass over when it’s put into position. In the main cabinet we have hob and sink, 10L water container, portable fridge and our coffee maker. There is also a small door to house the table top. It works great for us [emoji106]

Hope this helps ... we move the little fridge into place once we’re set up. We also have a cool box that goes in the tent for the bigger stuff.

The gas bottle cubby is a great place for keeping a few car essentials too.

Our bed is a rusty lee, so glad we got full width [emoji106]
