Planning on removing the spare wheel from the front, what is the best way to fill the holes that will be left?
I intend to fit a badge at some point (i have the badge but hink its going to have to be stuck on so this will happen after re-spray) but for the time being i need to do something with the holes left, how have people filled there holes? Will just using filler be OK or should i cut a patch and weld something in?

Hi froggy
Did the same thing when my van came over. What i had to do was once the spare wheel holder is removed it leaves 4 threaded inserts in the front panel these need to be removed.Mine just needed a nip with pliers and they fell into the van.You will be left with four hole which are in the original badge possitions but with mine they had been enlarged a little to fit the thread inserts. So all i did was use the propper badge plugs but built them out with electrical tape until they are a good fit. They held the badge on for 2 years untill i had the resprayed when i had them welded up and redrilled.
Hope this helps

Made up some little steel disks, MIG'ed them into the holes and then grind flush. A little skim of filler and flat off. These can then be redrilled to take the badge clips, but take down the measurements of where the holes were.

hope this helps. :)
