I genuinely felt warmer than when I travelled down to see you a few weeks ago. Less draughty for sure... plus I had 3 pairs of handwarmers on the go (hands, feet, knees) Heh, yeah... the paint... Red Oxide in a can sucks. It is unbelievably runny! We were on a tight schedule so I just painted round the aperture, complete with runs and streaks and not enough prep work. So yeah, doesn't look the best  But you know what? I can live with it for now. I have a few ideas of what I might do with the doors but a "proper" paint job is a looooong way off (bottom of the endless list). Drivers door has original chianti red under some dark blue metallic paint. Topped off "nicely" with some random-rattle-can-red and red-oxide. Passengers side is original paint [pastel?] white with red oxide around the window aperture. New tailgate and engine lid (yet to be fitted) are OG paint [Niagara?] blue. These will probably get a dusting of red oxide before fitting too. What you gunna do?
