I am new and need a lot of help. I apologise as I suspect these questions have been asked many, many times before.
Have got a 71 cali import with perished door and tailgate seals, wheres the best place to get a set from?
It has been lowered by one spline/turn (not even sure of phrasing) and evened out at the front, can I go a touch lower without putting a narrowed beam on?
With overiders where is the best place for a front number plate to go, on body or bumper?
Will be on some surf trips this year, but live over 250miles from my favourite spots. Will a set of twin carbs help with motorway cruising/economy or will it just drink juice? have a 1600 standard unit in.

Sorry for the dumb ass, asked a million times before questions and thanks for your comments.

Status VW for your seals http://www.status-vw.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
With your carbs go for something like a Weber 34 ICT, only genuine none of that chinese EMPI tat, you can get them from eurocarb http://www.dellorto.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Eurocarb-Ltd-Dellorto-Weber-Carbs__W0QQ_armrsZ1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The twin 34s will give you slightly better MPG and a touch more power. You might also want to consider eletronix ignition such as the Petronix or 123 systems.

With your number plate, you could always get an american sized plate or a square plate? If your drilling it on I'd suggest the bumper, if your using double sided tape you could always mount it on the lower front panel. Both would be ok, but I'd suggest avoiding drilling holes in your front panel.

Not sure about the lowering, think it depends what wheel and tyre combo your running and how the front has been dropped.

Oh and start a thread in the gallery and post some pics of your bus!

Can we have pix of your Bus please? Another quesyion asked loads n loads of times :mrgreen: .
