Hello, I'm looking into getting my front seats retrimed in my van and also have a mk2 golf that needs the front seat repaired on the bolster. Any recommendations around Oxfordshire area that could help me out?

If you're will ing to do it yourself, i bought a pair of seat covers on a tuesday from db car trim to be custom made for the twin and single in my '69 bay, he made and delivered them by thursday morning the same week!

I'm looking to do some myself and was thinking TMI but had seen the DB on eBay. Can I ask what the quality is like and how easy they were to fit?

Did you have to buy hog rings etc?

Cheers

Steve

Quality is great, i used the bendy hooked pieces of metal that are part of the seat frames to attatch as per original, no hog rings used. Top tip is to thread plastic coated metal washing line round the beading to stop any rips etc while you are stretching them into place
