I know this question has been asked many a time.

I need to do both sides in the next few mths plus outriggers.

What sills do i need to use, getting a bit confused on what i need.

Do both sides have inner, outer and middle or is that only the sliding door side.

Are there any extra bits needed (in peoples experieance of doing them).

Where is the best place to get them. Should i go for Geninue or repro.

Seems a lot of questoins for the new year. Many thanks and a Happy New Year.

DOH!!  just noticed ive put it in the wrong section SORRY.
CAN it be moved to the tech section.

both sides come with three sections. inner, strengthener, and outer on the non door side. this is quite straight forward, schofields do pretty decent panels and you can go as high as you want on the outer panel. the sliding door side has the inner sil, the stregthener which has the sliding door track on it, the a tiny outer. inner sil replacement is easy and the panels for this are ok. the sliding door track is best left if at all possible as the replacement panels are crap and are nowhere near the old one so keep as much of the old one as you can. the tiny outer on the sliding door side is easy but replacement panels are usually not good. nos is the best route as replacement dont have the nice curved contour, they tend to be a little flat. as for riggers and jack points, they are an easy fix as long as the tracks that run across the floor underneath are in good nick. i bought a role over bar to do the work on my van which made it a lot easier so if you can borrow one it would make the job a lot easier.
