Sliding door lock

I’ve owned my bus for 8 years and haven’t been able to fix the inside lock of the sliding door. I’ve looked through the Bentley book and a number YouTube videos and haven’t found a solution!
Any help?

Does it open and close ok from the handle but not lock from the small lever?
