speedo dial etc -colour?

Has anyone got any ideas on which colour and brand to go for, to paint the rings supporting the speedo and fuel gauge dials ?

It's just the rings that could do with painting.



It looks like satin gun metal grey. :?

From memory, I used Ford Nimbus grey. Available in a pre mixed 200ml can in most Ford dealerships. Take the ring in with you to make sure that's the right colour. Been a while since I used it.

Sorry Mike. Just edited the above. I do beleive it was in fact Nimbus grey.

It's ok I bought Nimbus grey, as there wasn't any Magnum grey. I'm painting them now, it looks good.

Do you think I need the laquer coat, is it only essential for external bodywork?

No laquer necessary. Pretty good match as it is.
