I will bring up the elephant in the room. Stay safe everyone, I hope you and yours stay healthy and I hope you find beans and toilet roll when needed Covid 19 f**k off.

Panic buying pricks. There said, hope everyone stays healthy and virus free.
All you guys that deal with the public , be extra safe.
One of us has been told that as of Monday the business is closed and will only open again if they make it through.

Be safe everyone.

:D :D :D

Echo all of that above so stay extra cautious and keep your distance peeps. I’ve gone from being a low life irritant to a proper under pants on the outside super hero over very recent times because I’m an Asda delivery driver. I really hope I don’t pass anything on to some of the very elderly peeps that I keep supplied with groceries and silly jokes

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,Clear Off Corona

I'm disgusted with some of the panic buying behaviour that is going on. Worse still are the tossers selling baby formula on eBay at hugely inflated prices. They will build a statue of whomever finds the antidote. Stay safe peeps.

Good luck everyone. Keep posting positively on here and keep in touch with each other.

Don’t forget , you can jump in your bus and have a self contained safe day out. Shows may be on ice but the essence of owning a bus remains.

Just stick em in the van lads, cheers

If your house is anything like mine Ozzie.. cope the corners instead if going for a mitre, takes longer but worth the hassle if your angles are wonky :D
Keep safe fella

Yeah, exactly like that and yes you’re right, I’ll butt scribe / cope all the internals and just mitre the external corners. Eight external corners and five internal corners and walls like a cross between a banananana and a skipping rope. Original house plus extension built by Houdini and Stevie Wonder building corporation
I’m making it hard for myself too by using MDF Taurus/ Torus PRE PAINTED skirtings so how much room for error :?

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,Yeah,, none  ;)

There's quite a few teams and an incredible amount of brainpower and resources being thrown at this.
There are numerous 'leads' being followed, our youngest son is about to start work with a German who is an expert on SARS as this appears to be a promising avenue.
We won't see him home for quite a while.

Yes, I saw an extensive list of bodies/organizations that are working 24/7 on this and the different approaches they are taking.

God speed to your son and the team he is with.

Thank the Lord for the old bus. End of last year was spent mucking about with non starting Billie (me Bus). We all know...Old bus...lots of troubles with seeking answers. Then the New Year. Those troubles made my New Year’s resolution be one of ‘Let’s hope 2020 will be a better.....etc, etc.’ Oooops! I’m a Staff Nurse and with all that goes with it? Enough said. But it’s been intense. You know? The Dub? And all she represents? Priceless. And I truly mean....priceless. She became a much needed distraction. OK. I couldn’t focus on the work Billie needed to get her sweet and running again. The engine fuel system and the parts needed were a true bar steward to focus and get my head around. But Billie became my future ‘all will be well’ dream? That dream. It was to simply sit on a Welsh local lakeside, in the Dub, with a coffee, gentle music and Harry Potter reading 😳. To forget daily anxieties and just relax completely and smile for once. Then? To be on the beach at Ynyslas with family and friends and joy in getting back together. Cooking up a mean coffee and breakfast and handing it out over the sliding door threshold. She’s now back on the road and just going to work behind the wheel with that precious engine sound? Yay!! You know..We own a pretty awesome ‘Well Being‘ piece of kit. That pootling engine and the whole ambience of sitting in what we all own? No words! Stay safe and sane all you guys and gals. See you at the future shows.

Gotta say that this recent grande dose of sunnnnnnshinnne has encouraged me to use mine on any excuse to get out after work like shopping etc. I would just love to be able to take mine to work as it would be fab just seeing his smiling face as I come out the door (OTT???maybe) but and it’s a big old buttttt, would I want to leave him in a super market car park along side the pond life parking brigade  plus the very much lighter fingered than the rest of us type tea leaves

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,, maybe not

Park near the queueing area - you have a captive audience of potential witnesses right there. :msn4:

I've been using mine a bit recently, in the sunny weather we've been getting out to some local spots that we would never normally bother going to, just areas on the local river or water parks for an hour or two for lunch in the bus and a sit in the sun. Its been brilliant. On Monday we went to Burnham on Sea, completely independant, we took all out own food and drink and the portaloo. It was a hot day, the sea came in and we came no closer than about 50 metres with anyone. Fab 8)

Even the smallest of journeys helps the soul. Here in Wales we’ve had lockdown much longer. My journey to work is 10 miles North from my village to the hospital where I work. And 10 miles back. Along country roads with views of the hills, estuary and river all visible for a distance of miles around. So a beautiful one. I’m very lucky. When we monthly shop in Morrisons and drive South? We go in my wife’s car. Like Ozzie, I feel a bit weird if I had to leave the bus on the car park. So haven’t done so yet. Also people may think I’m a holiday maker. Or someone travelling to their second home. Believe me.....the local people do have that reactionary thought when they see a ‘campervan’. I was asked by someone I didn’t know when I was buying petrol in my work’s small town, ‘Where you from?’ When I said my village name. They replied ‘Oh yeah! Thought I’ve seen you driving around’. Understandable when people have so many anxieties. But was a bit of a shock. At work she’s parked up out front on the car park. Most of our small town community know Billie very well. They’ve seen her over the years because the bus is my daily transport. What has happened locally though is that we are not allowed to go to the local beach. No non essential journeys. So other beauty spots are out too. The police are stopping cars coming in to Wales, so there is a high presence of police cars monitoring. And of course. If they saw a ‘campervan’? I’d be stopped instantly. So, I’m looking forward to do as Clem has done. Good sensible practice. Use the Dub as a perfect isolation place to sit and just chill where I have a sea or lakeside view. Trouble is. Someone sees a VeeDub and they’re gonna be wanting to come to talk to you in a flash! 🤔 Oh for the days when we can all truly totally relax in them as we used to.

I really hadn’t thought of that, the fact that peeps regularly pop over to tell me about their sister’s neighbours uncles brothers van years ago,,..
