Just wondering if someone can shed some light on an issue i have..... When rocking the steering wheel back and forth there is a distinctive clunk coming from the steering box. Checked the adjuster screw today and found it was wound out with the lock nut siezed solid on the thread. We got it out and cleaned it up and adjusted it but there is still a noticeable clunk.....there is minimal play in the steering, was wondering what it is and is it an M-O-T failure, which is coming up very soon. We also topped it up with gear oil with no noticeable difference. Any feedback welcome. Cheers Nige.
