Right, my bus as a 1600 TP which is stock expect for an 009, it starts easy, idles good and revs up cleanly BUT if I take the HT lead off number 4 the engine note does not change yet all the others it starts cut out. I can't work this out because it runs well like I've said above :? The odd thing is number 4 is getting a spark :?

Any ideas would be great, I'm stumped :(

Valve clearances,
I had exactly the same thing, engine started 1st time, idled nice and smooth but load it up and no power.
The inlet valved itself fully so the adjuster had un-adjusted itself fully so the valve never opened, might be worth re-checking all valves just in case
