assuming that everybody just comes on here to read my posts, and i think that's a fair assumption to make, you'll remember the *tat elephant crying possible diamond tears* which i posted about on the "show us your 5 on 112 wheels" thread a couple of weeks back and which i nearly bought for a couple of friends of mine's wedding present back in the nineties, only to be out-voted because it was, er, so obviously ****.

well, living in the antiques capital of cornwall (tm) obviously has its adantages, because i had a wander into town earlier on just with the intention of spreading some festive cheer, and who should i see sitting forlornly outside the first antique shop i came across ?

only this little beauty...

could it be ? the same one from all those years ago ? come to find his one true friend ?

they say elephants never forget a gesture of kindness...

does tat have DNA ? is there any way of finding out ?

well no, obviously.

but it has made my christmas complete

 What goes around comes around

I am kinda glad that it wasn't me that stumbled on it......I'm more of a minimalist in the house, well as much as you can with a wife (who childminds) and a 3 year old.

Happy Christmas Fella.

the estate agent who came to value our last house actually used the word *minimalistical* which i thought at the time was quite sensational

just to clear up any potential misunderstandings... the hideous tat is still sat on a chair outside the antiques shop in the cold, and the three wise owls are in a box in the loft... only beautiful, expensive things are displayed in my house... i too am very precious about my ornamentation :p

and now, to turn the internet off for the festive season.

merry xmas to you too (i miss the 'hug' smilie off vzi  )

i just love this mans/womans(life of brian) truthfull approach to life 8) long live the councillor and his multicoloured rants.....there should even be a "consult the councillor" page
