Just to prove I use my buses all the time they have to Earn there keep too :wink: . This was a full tree and after clearing the back garden it had to go . It didnt harm her in any way I just cudnt do more than 40mph up really steep hills :shock: I had to use trailer ratchet straps to hold it all down though to make sure it was safe for the 18mile journey to the rubbish tip :wink:

oh crikey, don't get me wrong...

a) the councillor only deals in freebies (ask clem :roll: )

b) if i DID get hold of them, they'd end up on my mountain of rusty bikes that i'm 'intending' to do something with but that in all honesty i'll never get round to touching and so will eventually just rust away to nothingness which is therefore a worse fate than being taken to the tip where they at least have a fifty / fifty chance of being salvaged by somebody who'll do something with them :wink:

that said, i live in the self-styled antiques capital of cornwall and at any one moment in time there's always one antique shop* with a patinated fifties tin scooter waiting for some nostalgic middle class parent with more money than sense to lash out a one-er, so i reckon £25's good value 8)

*just as at any one point in time there is always a tony parsons book in one of any given town's charity shops... check it out if you don't believe me... it's usually man & boy, but there are exceptions to keep the hunt fresh :mrgreen:
