Tool to remove steering drop arm?

Hi Guys,

Will be removing my drop arm this week and wondering what tool you used to do the job? Cant seem to source vw tool as specified in bentley so anyone used this one?

We got it off with a ball join splitter, the scissor type. Had to grind down the prongs to fit
