Tool to remove steering drop arm?

Hi Guys,

Will be removing my drop arm this week and wondering what tool you used to do the job? Cant seem to source vw tool as specified in bentley so anyone used this one?

Those fellas slip as the arm has a radius. I've got one you can borrow if needed.

I use a large ball joint splitter -not failed me yet. Did try and use a hydraulic puller but kept slipping off the drop arm

Nice one. Did you use the 33mm one as they have a few other sizes?

yea mine is 33,

it came off with a bang, don't put your face in front of it :lol:
