Hey guys I am trying to replace the top pulley because the outer half has rounded in the center. The thing is, no other pulleys I have tried will fit onto the inner half that is currently in place, so I need to replace the whole pulley.

The problem I am having is that I cannot remove the inner half of the top pulley, I don't want to force it and risk damaging the alternator. Any top tips for getting these off?

what methods you tried mate?assume you haven"t used/tried a "puller "?(resist going down the very big hammer route!)

A puller! I've got a puller. Not sure why I didn't think of that.

I changed mine yesterday actually. Didn't have access to a puller so a couple of small lever bars did the job well, just be gentle so not to damage the alternator.
