Transporter Haus spring plates

Just looking at getting some adjustable rear spring plates at http://transporterhaus.de/index.php/product-category/bay-window-bus/

What are 3" narrowed spring plates? Can't see how these would narrow the rear end without other things being narrowed too. Can anyone enlighten me?

I think your rear end must already be narrowed to fit these.

You need to cut and shut the torsion bar tube by 1.5", the torsion bar itself stays the same length as the spring plate has an extended boss.

A narrower A arm will need to be used. We're currently making some of these so they're available in CDS single piece tube.

A shorter driver shaft is required and the shock will need relocating.

Not an easy job but a lot easier with these parts.
