Hey everyone... Long time no lurk... Hoping someone can help us with something that's probably very easy.

We've removed Fanny's headlights to fit some swanky new LED bulbs in and now we can't get them back in. They are the sealed unit type that just have one screw holding them in.

There must just be a knack to it that we're missing but can't get them to fit into place in order to screw them back on. We've tried with and without the new bulbs as thought it might be to do with them not fitting into the bowl but they do and we still can't get them in 🤷🏻‍♀️

Any advice? 🤞🏻

The headlight bowl rim is flattened slightly on the outer edge, you need to hook the outer edge of the headlight bezel onto this flatter section and then pull the headlight towards the centre of the front panel to enable the single screw to locate in the thread on the inner edge of the headlight bowl.

Thanks for your reply 👍🏻

We noticed the flattened section yesterday and tried to start there but the headlight doesn't seem to fit over the rim snugly and the screw doesn't locate. They were on fine and but just don't seem to be able to get them to go back on and sit right. Maybe we just need a little patience as Gary Barlow says and to try again

Make sure you haven't got too much of the wire feeding the headlights in the bowl, this could stop the lights sitting correctly.
