Ok, first off this is not a plug for our business, although I realise in a way it is, Anyway its not, I'm asking for comments and ideas for 2009 from fellow dubbers.

We're been making stickers and graphics for a while now, mainly business graphics and one off for motorhomes etc, we do have the usual VW stickers, but if not careful they can easily fall into the distasteful 'I'd rather stick wasps up my arse' catergory.

Now as we are VW fans, in 2009 we are thinkng of getting to some VW shows, so what would you like to see at shows, the wordy back window type stickers, or something different ie larger sticker kits to cover the whole van? frosted glass artworks for windows? or a custom service on site to design and print/cut and maybe fit?

what would you like ot see at shows, more of this .

I'd like to see large 'distressed' van graphics for the van doors or sides.

Would look cool on patina'd rides, especially if they could be personalised.

How about stencils?

Yes the distressed look is a bit difficult with the vinyl, we do have distressed fonts that look worn, but never as good as real paint close up. Benefits of the vinyl are they are cheaper and quicker to fit than paint, and when you want a change it's easier to remove.

Yes we can do negatives on special vinyl that makes it into a stencil, this probably gives the best of both worlds, ie less skill required, just apply the stencil and spray over, than remove the stencil and rub done with some thin wet n dry to add that patina look.

I'm got to have a go and let you know the results

Custom work, on site design and for big panels etc fitting service as having fit and removed works ones they can be apain in the arse yet watching the guy do it to a mates it looked oh too easy and lined up too

Could be interested in glass frosting, I'm popping along to glass tattoo in a week or two to see what they can do with the back 3 but theres is a permanent acid etch so if a similar effect in vinyl can be achieved then may hook up with you at a show...
