First of all sorry if this has already been covered but struggled with the search tool.

I'm looking at protecting the underside of the van and wheel arches etc and wondered the best way to do it. There is no rust to treat so was thinking of just getting underneath and wire brushing everywhere to give it all a clean up then using hammerite with added waxoyl and a brush to coat the inside of the wheel arches and the chassis but was unsure what to do everywhere else?

Is this even a good option or is there a better product out there?

Cheers

I got baffled by the options for this - in the end I scraped all the old underseal off and wirebrushed the rust, hand painted with Bondo Zinc primer, and rattle can sprayed over in black stonechip.

I don't use the bus much in the wet, except annual trip to Cornwall when it'll spend two weeks in perpetual rain, and the above seems to work and is cheap and easy to apply without needing
special tools (ie compressor)
