not been looking forward to this moment as i worried about the weld strength on the jig :lol: and if it would balance without falling over

Nice work. Looks nice and solid. What are the plans?
well i was just going to jet wash and then re underseal but took a scraper to it today and got started on takeing all the old underseal off ,so if i can get it clean enough i will re seal all joints then stone chip then paint ,will look better in the long run. i was shocked at how badly they were sealed from the factory tho.

Count your blessings the original buyer had the sense to underseal it from the factory. Imagine how bad it would be if he didn't.

yes mate ,had to do a little work on it when i bolted it on but works ok .i have to say tho the whole bus weight on two pivet bolts is scary ,i am thinking of makeing the J type one next as they seem stronger and i could leave the bus on its side without worrying about it :lol:

quote="89Rallye"]Looking good!!

I remember rolling my first, terrifying!! Thinking its all just going to hit the floor.[/quote]
:D :D :D same here

the first time i flipped mine i had two guys pushing over and two guys pulling it got to the point when it was over when the four of us realised we were actually pulling against each other and it had infact reached its balance point. after about the eighth time it became easier. though flipping it with full engine and g box in with only three of us was tough.

it is terrifying the first time- in fact, i managed to get the front of my bus on, jacked the back up... put it on bricks, jacked again, more bricks... at one point the whole back end was balanced on a trolley jack sat on a tower of bricks... shitting myself i was.

still, chassis is solid now :D

It's a while ago now, but here's the finished chassis...
