Background of the bus :
We brought this bus from a young lady in America and had only been previously owned by her parents so has only ever had one owner . The bus was the same one that she enjoyed many family holidays in as a little girl and was left to her by here parents but she just didn't have the time or money to restore so sold it on.
1970 Baywindow delux bus project imported from Virginia . This bus is a complete bus , it has the engine, gearbox, inside trims, dash, seats and is a walkthrough model .
Has the rare middle seat (3 seater ) and the rear seat is also there, it even has the spare wheel cover as well. Some trims are inside the bus that have come of the delux trim and it still has the key in the ignition . The roof is in very good condition , and is nice and strait. The upper body is in very good condition with the exception of a few dents here and there , one of them is the rear corner , and the drivers side wheel arch has a buckle in it and could be straightened out. The front panel is not in bad condition but douse have a buckle , its gives the van character and will leave it up to its next owner to decide what they want to do . Great project base for someone to get started because this is a sort after 1970 delux model early bay . It douse need the usual lower bottom where they all go but compared to some uk buses its a good bus. This has never been previously welded before so doesn't have any one else bodged welding and is perfect for someone to add there own welding and restoration to . Has good rat patina to it or you can restore it, the choice is yours.
