Looking for front disc brake set up for 1970 low light currently has wide five drums fitted but PO Has swapped out the rear for later drum set up, would love a scooby conversion so would like to be able to stop

Option I went for on my 1970 was a wide 5 CSP disk brake kit

Not a cheap solution but has been faultless over several thousand miles of driving - even without a servo
And who wants to skimp on brakes!

Where are abouts are you?

ive just stripped a beam I bought, got 4 trailing arms, disk spindles, bearings, calipers and disk but will need a tidy up/new seals etc. Don't have the hubs though as my mate wanted them off me.

They're fairly weighty so may cost a fair bit to ship, if you want to make me an offer on them.

I can get some pics tomorrow to show you what I have

I bought the complete beam to attempt to create a narrowed beam

Hi stuff just at this moment funds don't run to CSP kit.
Nugsy am interested in what you got what year are they from and what sort of money you after I am in Wigan so would need to collect

They are off a 71' beam and I only needed the beam and torsion springs. I'm on drop spindles at the moment so the rest is not required.

I'll need to get an idea of prices before I can let you know, will check out on here and ebay to see what similar stuff has sold for, not out to rip anyone off but not giving stuff away either :D

It came with the steering driop link and anti roll bar too, if you need them as well. Not sure how much of your current wide 5 set up can be re-used

Hi Nugsy, think that's a one off year really looking for a later bay or Porsche set up but cheers anyway. Still looking
