Wire reinforced fuel pipe maybe, or a high nylon content? As Mike suggests probably best to change dizzy cap and leads, I had similar sparks round cap which I only noticed as it got dark - wondered why I'd had a persistent misfire

That sounds much more likely, I was thinking along the lines of dirty looking but stainless woven covering but the reinforced with wire does sound a bit more feasible :mrgreen: This is over in Brazil I think but extremely relevant to our little gang. Joey sent me the link and we’re both gonna try it out and see if we can get an extra couple of miles per hour out of it :shock: :x :shock:
